The Carrot team consists of a dedicated group of international industry leaders with long, successful track records in their respective fields. The team's diverse expertise spans technology, finance, law, and business development, providing a strong foundation for the ecosystem's growth and success.

Philippe Tarbouriech, Chief Technical Officer, is a multidisciplinary technologist with over 20 years of experience at technology companies in the US and Europe, including as a Technology Fellow at Electronic Arts. Philippe operates best at the crossroads between business, technology, and marketing. Recently, he won the Climate Fintech Hackathon at the Sustainable FinTech conference in Zurich, demonstrating his ability to develop innovative solutions for pressing environmental challenges.

Hans Tobé, Chief Financial Officer, brings over 25 years of experience in financial roles in international business. In his previous role, Hans led the finance and operations teams of the Netherlands Council for Trade Promotion, overseeing the business support infrastructure in over 20 countries. His extensive experience in managing complex financial operations across multiple jurisdictions will be invaluable in guiding Tracer's financial strategy and ensuring its long-term sustainability.

Hester Kranendonk, Chief Legal Counsel, is a successful international corporate law and finance attorney who has decided to pursue her career in sustainable business projects. Hester will develop, guard, and coordinate the relationships between the various participants in the Tracer ecosystem, ensuring that it operates in compliance with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.

Michiel Frackers – Co-Founder & Strategic Advisor

Michiel is a seasoned technology entrepreneur, investor, and advisor with a track record spanning over 30 years in internet, media, and blockchain innovation. As one of Europe’s first successful young tech entrepreneurs under 25 in the early nineties, he co-founded Planet Internet, which quickly became the largest internet service provider (ISP) and most popular website in the Netherlands, which was later acquired by Royal KPN Netherlands. Planet Internet was also a pioneer in digital content services and internet payments. His early success set the stage for a career in venture capital, sustainability investments, and blockchain applications.

Michiel was involved with several IPOs and expanded his influence into the investment sector, first as an angel investor and later managing two early-stage venture capital funds. He has built a diverse investment portfolio and held advisory roles at companies ranging from startups to industry leaders, including ID&T, creators of the world-famous event Sensation White, and TLS Card Systems, the issuer of the Dutch public transportation smart card.

Michiel is widely recognized for his extensive global network, having worked in Europe, the US and Asia, enhancing his capability to identify cross-border opportunities and collaborations. Additionally, he is known as the author of the influential weekly newsletter "Frackers on Tech" and as co-host of the NFA Podcast, a show covering technology, Web3, and market trends, with Dr. Nisheta Sachdev.

He has spoken at major global events such as TechCrunch Disrupt in New York, the Davos World Economic Forum, SXSW, and the Singapore ATX Summit. His investment and advisory work has emphasized sustainability since 2015 and blockchain technology since 2017.

Michiel also actively engages in non-profit initiatives. He has served as an advisor to the Dutch Secretary of Education and led Dutch startup missions to the United States with several initiatives, including "Dutch Fellows" and "High Tech Connections," led by the Dutch Prime Minister, to promote innovative Dutch startups internationally.

Dr. Nisheta Sachdev, renowned as "The Crypto Dentist," is a standout figure in the tech and blockchain industries, whose recent recognition as a Monaco 40 under 40 laureate underscores her significant contributions and innovative approach in these fields.

Hubert Shio-Hsien Tai, who has been involved as CTO in the IPOs of three Chinese technology companies, provides valuable insights into the technology landscape and the process of scaling and growing successful technology ventures.
