Carrot metadata is based on ERC-721 NFT URI Metadata JSON Schema and the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) is utilized to ensure its immutability. The metadata provides comprehensive information about the project, including the type of solution (biological, chemical, or mechanical), the origin of CO2, geographic footprint, sequestration details, auditing information, key dates, and secondary impact. This transparency not only fosters trust but also facilitates the automatic curation and auditing of CDR baskets aligned with specific objectives or intentions.
